Dwarven Armor

The Mountain Folk offered you this neat armor. When you eventually pick it up, it does the following:

+12L, +12B, Hardness 8. No mobility penalty. Fatigue penalty -1. It has lots of gizmos suitable for stunts: heads-up displays, sensors, jump jets in the boots, that sort of thing. I could give you a page of rules on those, but since they're all good for +2 dice anyway, just use them in a stunt for the same effect. Commit ten motes to attune it.

  • Does it have the "doesn't count as Armor for the purposes of Martial Arts" feature we asked for? I suspect not, with stats like that, but many of us probably don't want it in that case. None of the Charms in VBoS Style work in Armor, and even those characters who aren't Martial Arts focused frequently get mileage out of Joy in Adversity or Blade of the Battle Maiden. Hardness 8 and lots of soak might be a worthwhile trade-off for that, for Rose, Crow, and Mbelo, though. Kurgan 18:29, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
No, but it is reflexively removable. Seriously, you punch this button while twisting your toes and it flies off into the corner, safely stowed for later. Brian 21:30, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
Truly reflexive? I.e. in Step 2 of an attack on me I can say "I remove my armor"? I have to ask - is it reflexively donnable too? Remove in Step 2, put back on in Step 5 sounds like an excellent idea. I'm guessing it doesn't fit a spider-bot regardless, of course, so I ask only for the benefit of my friends.
