AndyE's commentary.

I don't want to just muck in your sheet, and I do have a couple of questions, too.

  • Change the level at the top to "Elven Ranger 6"
  • I assume you did the seventeen point stat build as well?
  • Action Point: I recommend putting in a slash (/); when you get an action point, add a slash; when you use one, put a backslash (\) over a slash, making an X - much like lethal/bashing admage in exalted.
  • Skills - you should really cajole the party cleric into having a Holy Lantern active, which gives you a boost to perception.
  • Nimble strike - Dexmod should be added to damage. this is a d10+7 power.
  • Hmmm, did I actually suggest two encounter mobility powers? ((L6) Weave through the fray and (L2)Yield Ground? Both are utilities. You may want Hunter's Privilege as your L2 (Stance, Daily; if you beat *everyone* at initiative, do three extra points of damage with your Quarry).
  • Two Fanged Strike should be +12/AC
  • Same for Disruptive Strike.
  • Same for Hunter's Bear trap.
  • Out of curiosity, why Splintering Shot instead of Spitting Cobra Stance? I like the -2 debuff, especially since whoever you target is almost certainly marked by me, and the surviviability helps me; but SCS almost certainly rates to do far more damage.

Kat's answers:

Yes, I need to change the level at the top. I was editing HelenaSheet, so I didn't notice that. Fixed. Not sure what you mean by "the 17 point stat build". I used one of the point-based templates from the player's handbook and built up from there. I think the one I chose was not very optimized for a >Level4 character, but it's good at level 6.

  • Action Point - good idea. Thanks
  • Skills - good idea. I'll see what I can do about that.
  • Nimble Strike - neat! I misread that one, thanks!
  • You didn't make a 6th level suggestion. I considered "Evade Ambush", but it seemed less useful. Weave through the fray is an interrupt, which makes it neat.
  • Yeah, about that 4+5+3=12. I also didn't update the damage calculations for level 6. Oops. Fixed now
  • Pretty much because I don't have Martial Power to look at. I may look at it and retrain at level 7.
